 | About the Summit | | Every woman at every age and stage of her life has much at stake in the policy decisions being made in our state regarding access to quality health care.
Join Lieutenant Governor Barbara Lawton, DHS Secretary Karen Timberlake, National Women's Law Center Representative Lisa Codispoti and Nationally Renowed Keynote Speaker Tamara Wrenn as they speak about the current state of women's health in Wisconsin and discuss how we can join together and use the Life Course Model to improve the status of every Wisconsin woman's health at every age and every stage of her life.
The Summit will feature impressive panel discussions surrounding diverse topics such as the Power of Collaboration, Story Sharing and Personal Advocacy, and Unique Health Needs of Different Wisconsin Women. Attendees can also look forward to participating in the creation of a comprehensive Wisconsin Women's Health Policy Agenda focusing on a variety of issues from Cancer to Lesbian Health, Economic Security to Violence Against Women. |
