 This October marks Compassionate Care for Rape Victims (CCRV) Month in Wisconsin. In recognition of Wisconsin’s thousands of rape victims, sexual assault advocates and women’s health supporters dedicate the month to ensuring compassionate care is offered in hospital emergency rooms around the state.
In May, the State Senate overwhelming passed CCRV legislation by a vote of 27 to 6.
Our Goal: Pass CCRV Legislation (Senate Bill 129 & Assembly Bill 377) without amendment in the State Assembly so it can become law.
