 | | Protects physicians who negligently withhold crucial medical information from pregnant women and their families if the physician believes the woman could use the information to choose an abortion by eliminating legal remedies that exist for patients under Wisconsin law. The bill purports to ban “wrongful life” and “wrongful birth” lawsuits against physicians who have been negligent in their administration of care. "Wrongful life" lawsuits have not been recognized in Wisconsin. |
