Responsible Sex Education Bill SB 405

Bill will require school boards who elect to provide human growth and development instruction to include the following in the curriculum’s content:

- skills to strengthen communications between the pupil and their parent/guardian
- awareness about and protection from behavior such as unwanted sexual advances to sexual assault
- scientifically-based, objective, responsible sexuality education including abstinence, plus pregnancy and sexually transmitted infection prevention
