 | The REAL Act will provide funding to states for medically accurate, age appropriate comprehensive sexuality education in the schools that includes information about both abstinence and contraception, from both a values and public health perspective. Sponsored by Rep. Barbara Lee of California, Rep. Christopher Shays of Connecticut, and Sen. Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey, this Act would grant $206 million per year to states for comprehensive sex education.
